IABA Home Show

The Interior Alaska Building Association’s Home Show, sponsored by Denali State Bank, will take place at the Carlson Center March 19-21, 2027. The 2026 event featured more than 130 vendors and welcomed 4,000 attendees. Its continued growth has drawn businesses from across Alaska and beyond, making it a key community event for anyone interested in northern living.

As the only home show in Fairbanks, it has become the unofficial start of spring and the building season. Whether you’re exploring financing options, planning new construction, tackling a remodel, or updating your home, everything you need can be found in one convenient location with ample free parking. The event is co-sponsored by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, Cold Climate Housing Research Center, 3-Tier Alaska, Lotto Alaska, Spenard Builders Supply, and the Alaska Salmon Bake.

The Facts

The event takes place at the Carlson Center which is the Interior’s premier location for trade shows. 43,000 sq. ft. of available space laid out in single 10×10 spaces and multi spaces.

2027 will mark the 43rd annual event. The late March dates make this a great time to start planning a summer project and a great place to highlight your business to the project minded section of Fairbanks.

The IABA HOME SHOW’s continued and growing success is due to the quality of the vendors and the home related merchandise that is available at the event.

$7,000 will be spent on advertising The IABA Home Show. In addition there will be media co-sponsors to the event that will raise our advertising budget to nearly $10,000.

Seminars and hands on demonstrations take place throughout the weekend. If your company has a topic or demonstration to present, time slots may be requested by contacting KO Productions. There is no cost to present and spaces are first come, first served.

The IABA Home Show is brought to you by the Interior Alaska Building Association. Proceeds from the event go to support this nonprofit agency whose mission is to promote safe, durable, and affordable housing while coordinating all fields related to the building industry for the benefit of our community and the industry as a whole.

Move-in:

Thur, March 18 – 8am to 7pm
Fri., March 19 – 8am to 2pm
(If you require a vehicle to pull onto the loading bay to unload, this must be done prior to noon)

Show Dates & Hours:

Fri., March 19 – 2pm to 7pm
Sat., March 20 – 10am to 6pm
Sun., March 21 – 11am to 5pm

Move-out:

Sun., March 21 – 5pm to 11pm

All displays must stay in place until 5pm and move-out must be completed by 11pm.

Exhibit Space:

Main Arena and Prow:
10×10 booth – $750 ea.
Bulk area spaces:
4 spaces – $575 ea.
5 or more spaces – $500 ea.
(discount only in bulk area)
Pioneer Room:
8×8 booth – $450 ea.
Outside space: $1.50 per sq ft.

All IABA members receive a $200 discount
off of total amount due for main arena/Prow reservations and $100 off of total amount due for Pioneer Room reservations.

Booth Rental Includes:

Pipe & drape partitions and a 110 electrical outlet. Tables and chairs are available at the arena (first come, first serve) or you are welcome to bring your own.

Application Requirements:

Once you have registered, we will send you a space confirmation and an invoice. Early registration requires $50 down to confirm participation. 50% payment will be due December 15th with the remaining balance in full March 1. Late registrants (after Mar 1) must pay in full at time of registration. PLEASE READ our New Exhibitor Contract before sending payment.

Credit card payment can be made online at the link provided in your invoice or checks made out to the IABA and mailed to PO Box 80412, Fairbanks, AK 99708.
