IABA Home Show

March 28-30, 2025
Carlson Center – Fairbanks, Alaska

Couple dreaming of their new house

The Interior Alaska Building Association’s Home Show, sponsored by Alaska EcoWater and Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska, will take place at the Carlson Center on March 28-30, 2025. The 2024 event had over 130 vendors and just under 4,000 people in attendance. The show’s continued success attracts statewide and nationwide businesses alike and has become a major community event for people interested in every aspect of northern living.

It is the only home show in Fairbanks and has become the unofficial kickoff to spring and the building season in our community. From financing to new construction to remodeling to refurnishing, it’s all there in one location on one floor, with lots of free parking. The event is co-sponsored by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, Cold Climate Housing Research Center, and 3-Tier Alaska.

The Facts

The event takes place at the Carlson Center, which is the Interior’s premier location for trade shows. A 43,000 sq. ft. of available space is laid out in single 10X10 spaces and multi-spaces.

2025 will mark the 41st annual event. The late March dates make this a great time to start planning a summer project and a great place to highlight your business to the project-minded section of Fairbanks.

The IABA Home Show’s continued and growing success is due to the quality of the vendors and the home-related merchandise that is available at the event. To ensure growth in this direction, preference for new vendors will be given to businesses that are directly related to the home and home building.

$7,000 will be spent on advertising The IABA Home Show. In addition, there will be media co-sponsors to the event that will raise our advertising budget to well over $10,000.

Seminars and hands-on demonstrations take place throughout the weekend, from home loans to how to build an energy-rated home. If your company has a topic or demonstration to present, time slots may be requested by contacting KO Productions at least a month prior to the show.

The IABA Home Show is brought to you by the Interior Alaska Building Association. Proceeds from the event go to support this nonprofit agency whose mission is to promote safe, durable, and affordable housing while coordinating all fields related to the building industry for the benefit of our community and the industry as a whole.
